So for the next 6 months I am going to train and workout hard until it hurts when I walk. I am gonna push myself to the maximum and I am gonna workout like a madman and only eat fruits and vegetables. It kills me that I have to look in the mirror everyday and know that I am not good enough for her, and that's why I am gonna do this because I deserve to be in my lonely dark basement by my self for not being attractive. Question regarding my health, Ive had some weird *** symptoms and i wanna know what you think?

Okay right so let me tell you about myself, Im 18, 176 pounds, 6 feet tall and a guy. So for the past weekish ive been feeling random increase in heart rate and my resting heart rate has went up on average, not by too much though. However sometimes during the day maybe twice Ill get this feeling of fatigue and my heart beat goes up and i get a little short on breath possibly a little dizzy but not too bad. I work out like a madman and lift all the time but for the past week the only thing ive been able to do is distance run otherwise my heart rate goes up so much and I feel all weak and fatigued. Weights that I lift all the time have been feeling heavier as well i think just due to the fatigue when my heart beat goes that fast. But it happens sometimes when im just sitting down like calmly talking to someone. I've never had anxiety attacks and its not like im getting nervous or strssed when it happens. The only change ive made in my diet in the past month is taking a multivitamin and iodine supplements at very low dosages to help with general health. However I had been taking both those for a while before any of this started. I've done some research and one of the big things that came up because im not sick or ill or anything and have no diseases or viruses was hyperthyroidism, however I have no neck pain, the other symptoms point towards this. Let me know what you think especially if your a doctor or have good medical knowledge or have felt the same way.

US Navy checking medical history?

I have recently enlisted into the US navy. My recruiter told me that unlike other branches where the enlistment standards are lowered and they are just looking for a few trigger-pullers(except the air force), the navy is looking for high quality candidates. He told me that they are looking for any reason to send you home and not let you enlist so anything like broken bones or major surgery could disqualify you. I have only had acl surgery but my recruiter told me they would not let me enlist with that so he took it off my papers and told me to lie and to act as if it never happened. He said the navy can't and doesn't really look at your medical history unless they have some real reason to look it up. He told me "No" gets you in the navy and "Yes" gets you sent home. So I did everything he said and my process went smooth and I enlisted and am waiting to ship out. My only question is can and will the navy ever look at my medical history and if they do find out about the surgery, will they discharge me? I have no other problems and no criminal background or record and my knee is fine and functions like normal.

So finally I took my paperwork and went over to the Army and they processed me and got my waiver within the month and got me in the DEP a week later. Right now I work at a non profit association...have been for a few years. I sent my resume for this new job in another association. One problem...I made a dumb mistake a few months back and got a DUI. Decided to drive home from my brothers after drinking cause it was only a half mile away..assumed it was ok but as soon as I pulled out of the driveway...cop was there..DUI end of story. Horrible mistake and I deserved it..bad judgement. Anyway, my question is how do I bring this up and when? It hasn't been asked..yet but I am assuming they will want me to consent to a background check every company does one pretty much? Should I just write it on the form or try and explain what happened and my remorse. I wouldn't lie on the app im sure that would disqualify me automatically. Dreaming "in third person"?

Ok, so I have always known that there was something weird about my dreams since I was little. My dreams have always been VERY vivid and mostly disturbing. Most people wake up right before or right as they die in their dreams. Mine don't end. I die quite often in my dreams, in very horrible ways. I've been thrown in acid vats, shot in the face, left for dead in the woods with my entire family, sucked into a creepy portal of death (imagine the pensieve from Harry Potter but it kills you), sliced in half by a chainsaw wielding madman, etc. I have learned upon listening to other peoples' dreams that this is not normal. My dreams are also so realistic that I have a really hard time separating them from reality. One occasion where I dreamed my Dad was dead made me so upset upon waking up that I couldn't tell if it were true, and had to go in his room to see if he was still there. Even after seeing him, the feeling of losing him stuck with me for days. I've known this was odd and most people don't deal with it, but recently, I learned something else odd about my dreams. They are often "out of body." Where they aren't happening through my eyes, but as though I'm watching a movie. I know it's me, and I feel the emotions of the person I'm watching, but I'm seeing it as though I'm somewhere else, be it the other side of the room or changing angles. I didn't know this was not how other people dreamt. My parents are really concerned and want me to see a psychiatrist about it. They are also concerned because I never fall asleep easily or stay asleep. I have very vivid dreams and wake up as though I've been fighting all night. I'm always tired and sore when I wake up. Does anyone know what causes this? And is it really that weird to dream "in 3rd person"? Am I the only one who does that often? Thanks for you help.

Joining the military with narcolepsy?

I decided that I wanted to be a marine. After being diagnosed with narcolepsy, I realized the very real possibility of being disqualified. This reminds me exactly of when I did my first 2'6 hunter course. I only had my horse for a month and I didn't really know him well. Anyway the first course was really complicated and my horse refused almost all the jumps and we basically got disqualified. I got in the way of myself though. Ok so I moved in with these people when I was 8 didn't really care so got settled in. Why am I so damn horrible in math?

I'm 15 and am currently attending a high school continuation program that is an online class. I failed algerbra 1 and barely got out of algerbra readiness in the 8th grade with a C-. I have been horrible in math since the 2nd grade but thanks to our horrible educational system, they passed me again all the way to high school. People say logical thinkers are usually good in math. Here's the thing. I AM a logical thinker. I can identify solutions to real world problems others can't see. I even applied the "In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king" analogy to Susie Orman since I don't get why she is so popular. But that's not the point. I don't get why nothing ever clicks to me in math. I can't improve. I never get better. I forget things very easily and even if I take notes, when I get home, the notes look like someone else wrote them. I HATE studying because to me it never works. And I don't like being tutored by my brother. It's just the way I am. My brother is EXTREMELY smart in math but I hate being tutored by him. One of the things that REALLY REALLY PISSES ME OFF about math is how frustrating it is to me. My anger issues get in the way of me trying to solve a problem. I often get to the point of breaking things and have to calm myself down in class whenever I raise my fist to smash my desk with. I even get to the point of destroying my self-esteem by telling myself how much of a failure I am. I even CRY because of math. I CRY. A 15 year old man (I look like a friggin' 20 year old) CRYING. It's pathetic. Anyway, about my continuation program. The ONLY HOPE I HAVE IN GETTING INTO GEOMETRY NEXT SEMESTER. It BLOWS CHUNKS. You have this pie chart that is separated with slices that are math subjects. There is 250 (I think) topics you have to master. But here is the ******* RETARDED part. At the end of every day at this shithole, you do this assessment. It involves the whole pie chart into a 25 question mini quiz. I worked REALLY FREAKIN' HARD to get to over 170 topics. Then after finishing the assessment, I go down to 160!!!!!!! It doesn't stop there. I get back to 170 and the next assessment brings me down to 154!!!!! Thats FAILING!!!!............. I need to calm down. So as you can see, math is a ***** to me. It messes with my life. Everything is going fine until math comes along and screws everything up. Just like it always does. My Mom pretends to care and she just makes things worse. Also the person that watches us when we are in class bugs the hell outta me. Every time she says we have an assessment at the end of class, I clench my fist and start to shake in anger. Then go home, TRY to do some problems on the website at home, get angry. Exit out the window and cry about how stupid I am. I am not even that stupid. I like every other class. It's just math....... Why........ Why do they make us learn this? Don't worry about the juvenile offenses, as long as they weren't felonies, and the traffic violations will be ok if their not alcohol related. The recruiter that told you "as long as its not drug related, assault, or weapons related then I have nothing to worry about" is right. As for the ones who told you not to disclose the information, don't use them. Now my question is can I disclose the information about my broken bones to MEPS and them not find out about the osteoporosis stuff. Like if I disclose all of the stuff about my broken bones will they call my doctors and end up finding out about it?

there are many things that could really use some changing. But the problem is finding a way to make the changes one at a time without disrupting the whole system. This change has been foretold to come for a very long time through prophets and such. It must come because we can not continue in this manner for much longer. That is the hard part. How to believe in something that you can not see, and that sounds like craziness. But if i am crazy it is for Christ that i am crazy. It is for the love of truth and fairness to all. Help! gender confused in the military (airforce), what do i do?

I'm laying on my bed, i just finished crying, I feel so empty, drained and... just grey. My problem is that i'm in the air force and i can't tell anyone, I can't confide in anyone, i can't even see a shrink about it. If i was to see a psychologist he would be required to report any psychological ailment to my commander. My gender seems to be all i can think about, 24/7, it rules my life, destroys relationships, It's always playing in the background in my head, because of that I can't concentrate so I do poorly in school. Alright first; i work out like a madman and diet to, I've lost 120lbs and now sit at 164lbs and I'm pretty active outside of the gym, i usually treat myself once or twice a week and then hop back on my diet, is this ok to do? It doesn't sound like you laugh for no reason...but the fact that you can't stop once it's initiated, coupled with the inability to stop even with exerting physical pain on yourself is concerning. i am joining the army in a few months and i was wondering if i could take allergy medication while in and i also have a permeant retainer so if you could help me and say if i could have them in the army or if they are disqualifying.

Legendary mode on Fifa 11 is awful?

It's rubbish, Barcelona vs Barnsley, a championship team in the UK, all the players are little Maradonas, every ten seconds I'm penalized for a foul, usually for winning the ball fairly. Their crosses always get knocked in by a player, they just always get the touch despite me tapping the buttons like a madman, and there I am when I eventually get past their defenders who come out of nowhere to intercept any pass or ball I make, I'm crossing all day long into their box and nothing, no touch. Once they get into my half all they need is a through ball, my defenders will stand their and watch the ball roll about one foot in front of them without having the initiative to stick a foot out and claim it, if there's any trouble. And apparently Barnsley FC have defenders that can outrun Messi..

Minecraft: Can you undo something in minecraft?!?

I have just come from minecraft after an outrageous event, so I type this very angerly! I just spent over 2 hours building an amazing wooden mansion in an amazing world! I have been playing minecraft for less than a year now and have a realy cool building mod (too many items). So there i was in my GIANTLY HUGE LONG AMAZING mansion, im placing brick all around a block of netherack to make a fireplace, (the last thing on my agenda!) and the fire jumps like 20 feet to wood and lights the whole place alight. Im placing water all over the place like a madman but it doesnt work. I give up and go to my watch tower up on a hill near there and see it all just burn. Now theres just some fences, stairs, and a few patches of wood. Also theres an OCEAN where it used to be. So i was wondering if there was a way to delete files or get a mod to rewind my world. PLEASE HELP! I know this has happened to almost all minecraft players but it was HUGE AND AWESOME!!!!!!!!

Possible Disqualified from MEPS? Prior Service?

Im Currently in the USAF separating in 2 months honorable discharge and switching over to the USMC. I have to go through MEPS again, but I'm worried they will disqualify me. I had few minor medical issues while I have been in the USAF, but one issue worries me the most about going through MEPS. About a year ago i was working late and took one of those 5-hour energy shots, i felt like my heart was racing and got very nervous(i work in the clinic on base). I went to the nurse, and they sent me to the ER since the clinic was closed and the doctors all went home. The ER said they think i had a panic attack and did a EKG on my heart it was normal but showed i had Sinus Arrithimia. I was told that its not anything serious and alot of people have it. I followed up with my doctor on base and she sent me to a heart doctor off base to just check and make sure nothing is wrong with my heart. He did an unltrasound everything came back normal, he said im just thin physically and arrithimia is normal in thin people. He also did a 24-hour heart monitor thing i had to wear. He said everything was normal and i had PAC's which he believed is just do to the arrithimia all in all everything was fine. I never went to mental health for the "panic attack" and doctors said im perfectly normal, no restrictions and to stay away from energy shots. haha.. SO im worried im going to go to MEPS and they will deny me, re-entry becasue i had those minor things with my heart. On the MEPS papers they ask you, have you ever had Palpitations, PAC's, pounding heart, etc.. and im afraid I mark "yes" even the doc said i was normal i will be disqualified.. and some people have told me to just mark "no" .. but IM Prior service so they will easily be able to look at my electronic medical records in the computer and know if i lie about something. My recruitor says not to worry about it. But i am worried.. should i have the heart doc write me a letter to give MEPS saying he finds my heart normal and im clear to continue with military service in the USMC? I wish i could call MEPS(not giving my name) and ask but i dont think they answer questions on the phone.. advice please!!

Will having debt disqualify me for the Navy?

It's possible. Debt can deny you a security clearance which will dq you from alot of jobs, this will not be to the best interest of the navy and they can dq you because of that. Debt denies you from a clearance because you hypothetically will be tempted to sell information to pay off your debt. I don't think you'll have to worry about that though, it's only for people with massive amount of debt and horrible problems like you mentioned. Ask your recruiter to be sure.

Great question! Two of my favorite rockers. I like Dio the best because he was and is by far a better singer than Ozzy and was and is the GREATEST metal singer of all time. How to counteract glare from neighbors vinyl siding?

Our neighbors house is pretty close to our house, and we had no idea about the glare when we bought the house. When the sun hits the neighbors bright white vinyl siding, we have to close the shades because the sun bounces back in our window like you're looking at the sun! I'm not doing justice to it, it might sound nice, but it's a glaring bright, so bright you need to blink a few times after you shut the blinds (like having your picture taken, but with the flash never going off!) Does anyone have any good suggestions, I've though of tinting our windows, but that doesn't help when the windows open. I'd love to have it open and have regular light and a breeze in so much, but cannot figure out a way - any ingenious thoughts?? All the windows that get a good breeze face this house. How are you supposed to answer those pre-employment "personality" tests?

So I'm applying for jobs like a madman. It seems like most of the times I inquire in person, They tell me to apply online. I fill out the online applications and at the end of them, I am forced to take a pre- employment "personality test". Every time i take them, I'm somehow flagged and rejected. I'm not maladjusted, dangerous, or unstable. I'm just honest. So I'm asking YOU, my Yahoo Answers comrades, How am I supposed to answer those questionnaires? Air Force Vision Waiver?

I recently completed MEPS. Here is my situation. I KNOW I have correctable 20/20 vision. My optometrist assured me so when I recently go my new glasses. I also took a separate vision exam with another doctor prior to MEPS. However, at MEPS, I didn't do so well during the vision exam, and they calculated my vision was 20/30. This disqualified me from pretty much every job I wanted to do, to include Security Forces, EOD, SERE, etc. I asked if I could retake the vision exam again, and they said no. The Liaison said that I could try for a waiver, but the Surgeon General and his office typically do not overrule MEPS doctors. I'm trying for a waiver anyways, but I want to know if there are other possible options or solutions for my problem. Any answers are greatly appreciated.

One time in Pokemon Stadium 2, I actually defeated her in one of the Challenge Cups Battles with preset Pokemon. I was going toward my goal trying to win, not caring much whether or not she had cute Pokemon and then after her last Pokemon fainted, she immediately switched controllers and I tried to prevent her but she was stronger than me and the controllers ended up being switched to make it look like she defeated me and I lost the match. But God knows I didn't lose that match because I won with my own controller. If my sister did something in a tournament on someone by switching controllers against someone who actually won because all the refs have to do is announce who is going on to the next round if they see someone who won, and if they found out she was lying, wouldn't they have to disqualify her? Because probably, this isn't the first time she would've done something like this. Thinking she should always be the winner when she knows she lost.
