Does lying about your status on I-9 automatically disqualify you as a candidate for green card?

I lied about my legal status to work in the US. I am now married to a US citizen and had my immigration interview. The interviewer asked to give I-9 forms from my employer as further evidence and have 30 days to respond. I know that they will know I have lied on my I-9. Does that mean I will not get my green card even though I am married now to US citizen?

I was arrested yesterday afternoon for felony vandalism to my psycho stalker. Can anyone give me legal advice?

Your attorney will be the person with the real answers. Police make arrests on probable cause so about 51% odds a crime occurred. The district attorney is the one who makes decisions on actual charges. The burden of proof for them is much higher-- beyond a reasonable doubt. Sounds like there is plenty of reasonable doubt in the story you have shared. It may be the district attorney decides not to press charges at all. It doesn't sound like a very good case. Might be time to move.

EDD Appeal Hearing because of Overpayment.?

whether you meant to or not, you committed benefit fraud. there are two types of benefit fraud, intentional or unintentional fraud. it is quite clear what amount of income must be reported, gross or net, it's always gross. either way, you'll have to repay the overpayment amount, the thing you want is to have it determined unintentional, so go to the hearing and explain. they are very unforgiving on unreported income, the judge could go either way, hard to say.
